Submitting your FeedBurner feed to Google Webmaster Tools is another method to let Google know when you have fresh content. When new posts appear on the blog, Google will crawl both your website and your RSS feed. Submitting a Feedburner feed to Google Webmaster Tools requires the editing of the feed URL. If the original Feedburner feed is submitted, Google Webmaster Tools will generate error reports. This happens because Feedburner creates new permalinks or blog URL addresses within the feed when it is tracking the website stats. If Google Webmaster Tools tries to crawl these new links, it won't be able to pull up information. To submit a Feedburner feed from a WordPress or Blogger blog, the first step is editing the feed link.
